On the 12th of December 2022, Veezzy won the « Coup de Cœur » prize from the jury for the CYEL 2022 competition. The Rookie prize was specially given to veezzy as a young and yet promising startup.
The CYEL is a non-for-profit competition organized in Luxembourg since 2007 by the Junior Chamber International Luxembourg.
JCI is a membership-based non-profit organization that provide leadership development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.
Through the CYEL, JCI aims to promote entrepreneurship spirit, to transform passionate young people into capable and entrepreneurial young leaders and to integrate them into the economic and social spheres in Luxembourg and worldwide.
The first place was won by Circu Li-ion company. It’s a European battery upcycling startup. Their vision is to fight the climate crisis by maximizing the lifecycle of each Lithium-ion cell.
The second place was given to Mission Space. They are developing the first private satellite-based space weather nowcast and forecast system to help satellite operators solve the problem of data deficit and lack of warning tools to mitigate the effects of the geomagnetic storms and coronal mass ejections.
Cascade Lab won the third place, their concept is to allow administrative companies to automate their operations for multiple day-to-day activities.
The veezzy team assures that they are going to continue their progress with the purpose to participate to the next year edition.
